Currently
the Aeroclub owns one light single engine airplane, a Piper Cherokee (PA28-140),
donated to the Club by Greek American mr. Nick Melissinos. Besides donating
the aircraft, Mr. Melissinos has contributed to the Club in many ways,
assisting with the maintenance of the aircraft and by sending spare parts
and new equipment from the States.
Routine maintenance and overhauls
of the airplane are performed in Tatoi military airport (base of Athens
Aeroclub) by authorized mechanics and technicians. |
